My love of pottery began long before I ever sat down at a wheel. While our family was living in Germany with the military, I fell in love with European pottery and began collecting pieces wherever our travels took us. If I saw a sign for pottery, I followed it. Over the years, that collection grew to include pieces from around the world—each one holding a memory of a place, a maker, and a moment in time.

I’ve always loved design and creating things for others, and eventually that love found its way to clay. Today, I create wheel-thrown pottery from my studio in Larkspur, Colorado, inspired by the natural beauty around me and by all those pieces I’ve gathered along the way.

Clay Elevated is my way of creating pieces that I hope become part of someone else’s story—made by hand, meant to be used, and collected along the way.
